Gel-Ride Seat Saver Protects the rider on those long rides! Great for those with back problems, the Gel-Ride Seat Saver cushions the ride without creating bounce. The Seat Saver is a layer of .8 cm gel and a layer 1/2" foam, covered with a black polar fleece cover. The seat is about 13" across and 12" long. It has a basic teardrop shape, like a big bicycle seat. In the Western Seat Saver, the back part hooks over the cantle of the saddle with elastic. Place the pad on the seat, then run the front elastic down through the hole by the horn and up around the horn to secure it. It will fit any size of Western saddle, any tree. The English Seat Saver goes over the seat, then from the cantle under the saddle,
along the gullet, and fastens in the front with Velcro and elastic. It will
fit any English saddle. |

Gel-Ride
Contour Western Breather The Gel-Ride Contour Western Breather is all the blanket you need. Contoured from wither to tail to fit the horse's back, this pad is 76cm (30") long and 81cm (32") wide, with a gray Melton wool bottom and your choice of a Melton or Denim top in various colors (see colors left). It features a nylon mesh strip down the horse's spine for coolness. The pad is safe to wash in cold water and dry lying flat. Two 23cm (9") wide panels of gel are sandwiched between the covers and run the length of the pad, about 3" apart. The gel is thicker closer to the spine and tapers off slightly moving away from the spine area. The gel is topped with a layer of foam to keep the saddle seated on the pad. Thin and flexible, these pads give you maximum shock absorption and comfort for your horse while maintaining a close contact ride. $239.95 US GP15

Gel-Ride Western Butterfly If you want the protection of a gel pad with the look of your own western pad, this is the gel pad to choose. The Gel-Ride Western Butterfly goes on top of your regular pad to give your horse all the shock absorption you need. Two 9" wide panels of gel run the length of the pad, about 3" apart. The gel is topped with a layer of foam to keep the saddle in place. Contoured from wither to tail to fit the horse's back, 28" long and 21" wide, covered in black cotton poly stretch fabric, with a heavy duty nylon webbing spine.

There is a straight withers edge and curved cantle edge. Specially reinforced to provide the maximum suppleness and pliability, but at the same time provide the required strength for rugged applications. Withers This is a kidney-shaped pad developed for the withers, 44 cm (17") wide and 21cm (8.5") deep. It consists of a 1.3cm (0.5") thick gel pad under the withers which gradually slopes to only 0.5cm (0.2") thick away from the withers. The gel pad has a 1.3cm (0.5") foam imbedded in it. The foam helps prevent the pad from slipping. The pads are covered with either a black or white polyester cotton blended twill for ease of maintenance and rugged use.
